Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cable Serve acts as an authorized retailer to help you set up new service. Because the actual services (Internet, TV, Phone) are provided by third-party telecommunications companies, refunds and cancellations are governed primarily by the policies of the specific service provider you choose. This document outlines general guidelines.
1. Cancellation Before Installation
If you place an order through Cable Serve but decide to cancel before the service is installed or activated:
- You may cancel your order without penalty by calling us at +1 (877) 470-3460 prior to the scheduled installation date.
- Any upfront deposits or prepayment of the first month's service fee collected during the order process will be refunded in full.
- Refunds for pre-installation cancellations are typically processed back to the original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantees
Many of our partner service providers offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee for new customers. If your selected provider includes this guarantee:
- You may cancel your service within the first 30 days of activation if you are not satisfied.
- You must contact the service provider directly to initiate the cancellation under this guarantee.
- You will receive a refund for the monthly recurring service charge.
- Important Exclusions: Installation fees, activation fees, equipment non-return fees, and usage-based charges (e.g., pay-per-view movies, long-distance calls) are generally non-refundable, even within the 30-day window.
3. Cancellation After 30 Days
If you cancel your service after the initial 30-day period, or if your provider does not offer a money-back guarantee:
- No-Contract Plans: You may cancel at any time without an early termination fee. Service is typically billed month-to-month. Prorated refunds for partial months are generally not provided; your service will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Term Agreements (Contracts): If you agreed to a 12-month or 24-month term to secure promotional pricing, cancelling before the term expires will result in an Early Termination Fee (ETF). The ETF amount varies by provider but typically decreases for each month you maintain service.
4. Equipment Returns
Upon cancellation, you must return all leased equipment (modems, routers, set-top boxes, remotes) to the service provider. Failure to return equipment within the timeframe specified by the provider (usually 14-30 days) will result in unreturned equipment fees. These fees are non-refundable once charged unless the equipment is subsequently returned and accepted by the provider.
5. Service Credits for Outages
If you experience an extended service outage, you may be eligible for a prorated credit to your account. Outage credits are not issued automatically. You must report the outage to the service provider's technical support and request a credit. Credits are applied to future bills and are not issued as cash refunds.
